Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: July 26, 2026

Working draft for the GetKits prototype — written to match our current setup, not reviewed by counsel. Have this checked against FTC and Amazon Associates Program Policies before public launch.

GetKits is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

When you click a product link on GetKits and go on to buy something on Amazon, we may earn a commission on that purchase — at no additional cost to you. Amazon affiliate links on this site carry our Associates tracking tag (currently kitit-20, a holdover from GetKits' original working name).

This never changes what we recommend

Recommendations drive revenue. Revenue never drives recommendations. Nothing is included in a kit because of a higher commission, a sponsorship, or popularity — see How We Choose for the actual editorial process a product goes through before it earns a place. Affiliate revenue is how GetKits currently makes money; it is not what decides what GetKits tells you to buy.

Other affiliate relationships

Beyond Amazon Associates, GetKits may in the future work with other affiliate networks (for example Impact or PartnerStack) or direct merchant affiliate programs, and may add sponsored kits or sponsorships that are always clearly labeled as such and never disguised as editorial picks.

Pricing accuracy

Product prices shown on GetKits are researched estimates and may not reflect current Amazon pricing at the time you click through — always confirm the price on Amazon before purchasing.
